While we went into this holiday intending for it to be an unplanned backpacking adventure. We have quickly discovered that we need to have some key things organised well ahead of time.

So so like any good consultant I created a Kanban board for our trip.

Since I have been working from Sydney for over a year now we are mostly ready to fly but the following things needed to be sorted (to name a few):

  • Flights out (already booked for the 21st)
  • Rough itinerary of countries to visit and order
  • Visas
  • Budget
  • How we will access money
  • Vaccines
  • Gear including photo gear and packing list
